Destructive Wave
I throw myself beyond the breakpoint, hurling myself onto the beach, demanding attention.
My white foam lies exposed on the sand, vulnerable, serving as a distraction as I slink back to the anonymity of the ocean.
The crescendo of my arrival, contrasts the whisper of my disappearance.
When darkness falls, the moon in fear of the banshee hides,
Although you do not see my oscillations, you know I am here.
However, in the morning you see glimpses of my existence,
Through the debris lying violated and strewn by the shoreline.
