CHOKE AT CROKE

I had the joy and agony of being at Irelands first ever game at Croke Park. The occassion was the second leg of my stag do.

It was great to be in such a massive arena but it was a pity the Irish team could not live up to the occassion.

After fighting into a late lead. With only two minutes to go and four points up even Lisburn Rugby club could have won the game.

Irelands best chance of a grand slam was blown by

a) Irelands inability to catch a kick off

and

b) Ireland's inability to establish and hold a basic defence line beyond two tackles.I guess its the triple crown again.
